This is a true, memorable, compassionate story of courage and love between two brothers. In 1973, while John Cappelletti was winning the Heisman Trophy as the oustanding college football player in America, his younger brother Joey was suffering from leukemia. But John, now a running back for the Los Angeles Rams, had a very special medicine for Joey. It was called touchdowns. And John scored them in bunches because they were "Something for Joey."

When I was growing up I had several people that I idolized..one person that I idolized was my cousin...he was a starter on the basketball and the baseball teams when I was in elementary school....I always looked up to him because I wanted to be a high school athlete too...I also idolized Rod Carew and Harmon Killebrew of the Minnesota Twins...Today the person I most admire and idolize is my father...he was always there and always supported me....
All as a group we said it was are parents, beacuse we always look up to them and try to copy what they do. When we reach adulthood we would kike to be a lot like are parents.
Our group idolizes our own parents. We all feel they are a very important part of our lives and they are truly someone that we would want to be when we get older. For us our parents have helped us through all the hardtimes in our lives. They have shown us how to deal with a difficut situation and how to handle it with ease. Without our parents we all know that we wouldn't be the person we are, because they have helped to make us who we are today. They have shown us the meaning of life and not to ever take advantage of it and to us that is the most important thing in life and that is why we idolize them so much!
The people that I idolized the most when I was a kid, and still today, would prabably have to be my parents. My dad works really hard to keep his business running and functioning smoothly. My mom works really hard at her job as an RN/Supervisor at the Worthington Regional Hospital, and still has the energy to clean the house when she gets home, altough she is tired sometimes, but can you blame her? Usually I'm wiped out at the end of the day when I get home from practice.
