In "Something for Joey" Joey had to overcome the fact that he had to learn everything over. He had to learn to walk and talk.
Have you ever had a time where you had to overcome something? How did you get through this?

Our group has all had to overcome going to a new school. It may have been going from elemetary to high school or a whole new school system but for all of us it was very hard. Having to go to a new place and to meet new people is very hard. It is even harder when coming to a new school and they all already ahve their clicks. Some people are more then willing ot let you join but their our many who rather not have a new person. It can be very scary and hard at first but then there is someone who comes along and helps you out. Our group all agrees that there was some people who make you feel a lot better then others. They are more willing to let you hang out with them and invite you to do things. That is how we all got through our situation was by hanging in there and jsut being ourselves. After a little while someone will relize who you are and want to be your friend!
This year, I went to a new school. It was a little bit intimidating after being at a smaller school. But, I got through it. I knew a lot of the girls from different sports that I played, so it wasn't as bad as I thought that it would be. I felt that the transtion was easier because I already knew I had friends there.
Yes I had overcome my neighbor who was also my best friend moving to Florida. It was a little hard to overcome that at first but I got over it. He moved a little over a year ago and I havent seen him since. I plan on road trippin to Florida to see him in the summer. It would have been much harder to get over if I didn't have a bunch of other friends to hang with when he moved.
AS a group we decided that the time would be in sports. Why, you have to show everone that you can make play and that you are a playmaker.
